Gurr Auto Thinks Green

Help us lessen our carbon foot print

Tree Care

Part of our mission here at Gurr Auto is to Think Green and reduce our carbon footprint. We have been a part of a Multi Organization Planting Partnership (MOPP), with the Aylmer District Trapper's Council, Kettle Creek Conservation Authority and Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters.

In the past few years, with the help of 75 additional volunteers, 1000 trees were planted on a KCCA property, north of St Thomas.  With 40 of the volunteers being youth, this truly was an investment in the future of stewardship and conservation.

To date, this brings the total number of trees Gurr Auto is responsible for planting, over 3000.

Fox Hollow Farms is the nursery that has supplied the seedlings in the past, along with KCCA supplying the native trees the last few years.
