My experience at Gurr Auto was 10/10. This is hands down the best car shop I have visited. Mike at the service desk was super helpful & polite. They were able to order me a new replacement tire and get it installed same day (on a Friday no less!) There were no pushy sales tactics that other shops try. They provided a complimentary vehicle inspection report and technician video. There is also a shuttle service which is very convenient. I will definitely be going back for other car needs in the future.

The service was great, and they did a good job and explained what is needed to be done on the vehicle. Will definitely come back. Thank you also to Brian who made everything seamless.

Went for the first time. Dealt mainly with Mike. All staff were professional and friendly. Gave me options for the repair. The waiting room is clean and well maintained. A staff member gave my two children toys from a treasure chest while we waited.

I had an excellent experience with this auto shop!
The prices were very reasonable, and what really stood out to me was how transparent and thorough they were. They provided me with a detailed list of everything my vehicle needed, organized from urgent to non-urgent. They explained what each repair or service does, why it was needed, and what could safely wait. They also provided pictures and videos so I could actually see what they were seeing and understand the condition of my vehicle. I really appreciated this because I never felt like I was being pressured or told that I needed something without an explanation.

Their customer service was also excellent. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to take you home and pick you back up, which was extremely convenient. Since they had my vehicle for more than a day, they also provided me with a loaner car at no additional cost.

Overall, I’m extremely impressed with their professionalism, honesty, communication, and customer service. They made the entire repair process easy and stress-free. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers and want you to understand exactly what is happening with your vehicle.

I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest, reasonably priced, and professional automotive service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My experience was positive, the price matched the quote. They did a great job and their recommendations were valid. My service rep was Brian and he was very accommodating with my schedule. I would absolutely recommend them and have.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was my first time visiting Gurr Auto, and I couldn’t be more impressed. I emailed them explaining the issues I was having with my SUV and booked an appointment for a day that worked for me.

After dropping off my vehicle, they kept me updated by text and even sent me a video of my SUV on the hoist. They walked me through everything underneath, showing me what was still in good condition and what repairs were recommended. They also included detailed explanations and photos, which I really appreciated.

I have never experienced this level of service from a garage before. The communication, honesty, and attention to detail were outstanding. When my SUV was ready, they went over everything that had been done, and the invoice clearly explained all of the work completed.

As a first-time customer, I was also surprised with a thoughtful thank-you gift bag, which was such a kind gesture.

The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. I highly recommend Gurr Auto, and they will definitely be my garage from now on. Thank you to everyone at Gurr Auto!

I had a great experience at Gurr Auto Pro. The team was professional, friendly, and efficient from start to finish. My service was handled smoothly, everything was clearly explained, and the communication was excellent throughout the visit. I really appreciate the care they put into their work — it made the whole process easy and stress‑free. I will definitely be returning for future service and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, honest automotive care.

Amazing shop. Brian was my advisor, and i’ve never seen such patience, help, and service my entire life. Honesty as well. To find honesty like how I did with Brian anywhere else it’s like finding a diamond in the rough. Don’t even hesitate to bring your car in here. Just do it.

My experience at Gurr Auto was great. They did a video analysis on my Truck pointing issues than could cause concern in the future. They performed work as requested and the drove me home and picked me up when Truck was ready. Very professional and not pushy. Also as a first time customer I received a small gift bag containing a Pen, coupons candies and bagged popcorn.

These guys are a top rate shop.
Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. They sent me video updates during the repairs. My vehicle was in bad need of help. They did everything thing they said they would do. My truck feels like new.
I would recommend Gurr to anyone.

Great service and great communications - you can text back and forth, their desk answers quick and is very helpful, and the tech provides a video summary of their work. Thanks team!

Found myself in need of auto repair service when out and about in St Thomas. On a quick search I wondered into Gurr Auto and couldn't be happier.

First class service from John, Suzanne and the team on my Toyota 4Runner. Highly recommend.

We had an emergency tire issue and you took us in right away. Fixing our flat tire so we could continue our girls journey. All the employees we dealt with were awesome. You even gave us a goodie gift bag to go. Thank you for your care.

Gurr Auto exceeded my expectations based on my initial experience upon having two out of province transfer inspections performed on my BMW 430i and Honda Pilot. Staff were professional, communicative, knowledgable and informative in their verbal and digital follow up presentations. They instilled a sense of confidence and trust in their pursuit of total client satisfaction and by providing excellent service with integrity.

Super smooth winter tire swap experience. Friendly team, very professional, and made the whole process hassle-free.
The video update of my car by the technical team was a nice surprise and the health check review was really useful. Plus, they left a small popcorn pack with a coupon in the car, very thoughtful and made my day! 😊
Shoutout to Jessie & Mike for taking great care of everything! 👍

The best service in St. Thomas! They are incredibly thorough and always go the extra mile. I really appreciate their honesty; they only recommend what’s needed without any 'hardcore' selling. Mike, Jessie, and Brian thank you so much for the top-notch support!!

I wanted a garage I could trust and came across Gurr. Even before booking, I emailed questions and received thorough, friendly and inviting replies that immediately gave me confidence. The service appointment was easy to book and servicing was professional, well-organized, and reassuring. I left feeling at ease. They even followed up after the appointment to make sure I was happy. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with this shop from start to finish. Communication was excellent—everything was clearly explained upfront in terms of pricing and expectations, and they stayed exactly within the quoted price.
The team worked efficiently and even provided a loaner vehicle, which made things so much easier. The 360 inspection was incredibly thorough, with a detailed digital report that included videos of my actual car and clear ratings on what needed attention and how urgent it was. That level of transparency really stood out.
Mike, my service advisor, was kind, professional, and very easy to deal with—he made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It felt like he was really listening to me when we spoke- he wasn’t pushy, and was patient as I explained details. That made things feel more comfortable.
They even sent me off with a thoughtful thank-you grab bag, which was such a nice touch.
Highly recommend!

I was very pleased with the quality customer service from each staff member, from start to finish. First off, great flexibility allowing me to drop my car off same day for an engine light inspection. The speedy shuttle service made this possible while I was at work. I was also very impressed with the super informative report I recieved through text with a link to videos of the inspection, as well as a written break down with suggested work and pricing! I felt super comfortable my vehicle and I were in good hands! Highly recommend, I'll be back!

Gurr are great, every time our car goes in for any service they do a full inspection and email a report. The report includes everything that is ok with the vehicle, minor issues and important issues. It also includes a video usually of the underside of the vehicle showing its condition.

Every visit comes with recommendations for extra service, but they’re never pushy about getting anything extra done.

Gurr Auto was recommended to me by a neighbour as being the best auto service in St Thomas, Ontario. She was correct and my experience with them was so positive. A few weeks ago, they replaced my battery and did a thorough check of my car. They even sent videos from the technician examining the underside of my car and the battery testing. I was treated in a friendly and respectful manner with explanations and pricing fully detailed. They also have complimentary shuttle service to my home and back while my car was being serviced. I am pleased and relieved to have a professional auto service shop locally.

I was just going in for an oil change, but they were so friendly and accommodating. I work outside of St. Thomas, so finding a time that works is hard. They offered me a loaner. It turned out I was able to get it there in person and they still have me the loaner to run a couple of errands. I will definitely be back!

Very happy. Mike was able to squeeze me in and took great care in making sure all the important checks were done. He kept me informed fully through the entire process.

Great first experience, I was able to book online quickly and service I needed was done immediately. Really appreciated the loaner vehicle for a few days. Shop was very interactive throughout service and included a visual aid going over diagnosis. Plus a super a little bonus when checking out a welcome gift bag which goes above and beyond to show their appreciation for my business. The next day a follow up message was sent to ensure I was pleased with service . I definitely recommend booking there for your next car service I will definitely be back. Thank you ;

We have three of our vehicles serviced at Gurr Auto and they do great work and the service advisors are great too!! Supporting local businesses is why we take our vehicles to Gurr Auto Thanks to all your staff !!!!

I happened upon Gurr Auto by accident really. I suddenly realized I had a flat tire and pulled off the Talbot road on a side street. It happened to be right at Gurr Auto so I got into their parking lot and went inside to ask for assistance. Brian was very helpful and had my car inside to get the tire changed very quickly. He had the mechanic put my spare on and kept my wheel to be fixed. I was able to get to work and on the way home I stopped back in to have my wheel put back on my car. They had fixed the issue with the flat, took my car for a quick test drive, made sure the lugs were all tight and off I went after paying of course! The charge was fair for the work done. I really appreciated being seen so quickly despite the garage being busy with every bay having a car in it. We are new to st thomas and I think we've found the garage we'll be using for all my cars needs.

They always do an amazing job , and will do only what’s necessary, and don’t try to upsell you on things you don’t need! The 360 inspection is always great too !

Very helpful and knowledgeable! Very friendly people. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a new shop! My car is now running great thanks to them:)

As soon as you're done your very first phonecall with them, you'll realize you're dealing with a very special auto-repair shop.

Here's why:

1- Your case will be assigned to one person so all your follow-ups will be with that person

2- MOST IMPORTANT; you'll get an email containing audio, video and photos all findings in your vehicle. The videos will be taken directly from your vehicle with the technician's voice in speaking directly to you and referring to previous discussions related to your concerns and how they can be addressed. You'll also get a list of recommendations beased on severity/urgency.

The email will also contain links to PDF/ presentations explaining the function/purpose of each part suggested for service/replacement.

Also a beautiful touch there, a picture of both the service advisor and the technician assigned to your vehicle along with their names

BIG POINT FOR TRANSPARENCY AND CLARITY****

3- It doesn't stop there, you also get a free shuttle service while your vehicle is being serviced. And a free loaner vehicle if your vehicle is staying over night.

4- Above all this, the job gets done the right way, not cutting corners, clear and concise communication and high-level dedication that you rarely find these days.

Definitely going back for everything I need done to any vehilce.

Thanks Gurr Auto
